Undaunted By Limitations From 2013 Stroke, Country Legend Headed On Tour
Despite the challenges brought on by a stroke in 2013, country music legend Alan Jackson is embarking on a major tour with special guest Martina McBride.
The tour will kick off on June 10 in Biloxi, Mississippi, and will make stops in major cities across the United States.
Jackson, 64, suffered a massive stroke in 2013 that left him with significant speech and mobility problems.
However, he has since made a remarkable recovery and is ready to hit the road again.
"I'm so excited to be back on tour," Jackson said in a statement.
"I've been working hard to get my voice back, and I'm feeling stronger every day."
Jackson's tour will feature a mix of his classic hits and new songs from his latest album, "Where Have You Gone."
McBride is also a Grammy-winning country music star with a string of hits to her name, including "Independence Day" and "This One's for the Girls."
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, February 10.
